My son, Robert, is 20 years old.  He has autism, verbal apraxia of speech, and a few other minor issues. I believe he was born without language.  He wasn’t deaf, he wasn’t mute.  He just didn’t have language . I have been teaching him while simultaneously learning how to teach.

These pages are not about well designed curriculum,  proven methods of teaching ,or promising research on autism.  They don’t address the  subject of recovery from autism.  They don’t advertise any specific therapy or cure.  They are only about teaching, learning, language, and thinking.  Nothing else.
